Habitat: This species passes through by late
April – early May (on spring migration) and by late August – early September (on
autumn migration), depending on food and weather conditions. They inhabit open
lake shores and river banks, swamps, ponds, flooded, meadows, dried-up lakes,
sandbars and marshes.
