Habitat: Mossy and grassy lowlands, flooded
areas open wet meadows in mountain forests, forest steppe and in the valley of
rivers. The nest is shallow hollow, lined with grasses placed on the ground
among tall plants. On migration it occurs in open dry steppe and in the valleys
of rivers lakes.
