Habitat: It is a solitary or semi-colonial
nester. Wild Hill Pigeon pairs nest in caves, crevices on ledges of high rocks,
cliffs, and gorges of rocky mountains in steppe and high mountains. Hybrid
individuals breed in/under artificial substrates such as the roofs of
buildings, cattle shelters, deserted buildings, and abandoned man-made
structures.
