Habitat: Inhabits open habits. Nests on the ground, covered by tall grass, short Carnaga spp. bushes, and tussocks in open arid and saline-marshy habits with short and sparse vegetation in steppe, Caragana steppe, plains and valleys of lakes. The nest is built with dried grass and lined with softer and finer grasses and hair.
