Food: Adult and larval forest insects and
pupae of Gypsy moths.
Habitat: Breeding birds nests in woodlands
and moister valleys with trees and scrub in dry areas. The nest is placed in
trees, on main forks of the trunk or larger branches, c.0.4-5 m high. The nest is a cup of twigs, roots and
moss, with a little mud mixed in, lined thickly with plant fibres, hair and
fur. Breeding has not yet been recorded in Hustai National Park.
