Food: Mayflies, dragonflies, bugs, beetles,

Habitat: This species prefers to select reeds
in reed beds and densely vegetated marshy areas, on river banks and in the
valleys of lakes. Female builds own nest amongst reeds, sedges of rarely in
shrubs growing water. The nest is a well constructed cylindrical cup bound to
vertical stems. Nest is made of tightly woven grass stems, strips of leaves and
reed fibers.
