Food: Arthropods including beetles, grasshoppers,
flies and their larvae.
Habitat: Breeding pairs nest in variety of
bushes, scrub young tree sand thickets in high mountains, at the edges of
mountain taiga forests, forest steppe, patched woodlands and valleys of rivers
and lakes. The nest is placed low in a bush or conifer tree, usually 0.7-1.2 m
high, very occasionally up to 3.5 m.
