Habitat: Breeding habitats consist of dense
moist conifer forests with under shrubs, but also in donate birch wood with low
cover. The nest is placed in a hollow or small cave in banks, river-cliffs, in
standing or fallen hollow logs, on the ground between tree-roots, among stones,
or in small depressions.
