Habitat: Breeding pairs nest in bushes and trees close to the ground with thickets and tall bushes in forest edges and on mountain slopes with dense bushes and water points in mountain taiga forests, forest steppe and valleys of rivers and lakes. Female builds loosely-built nest of plant stems and grass, lined with roots and hair.
