Food: Seeds, fruit and buds of various plants

Habitat: Breeding habitats consist of tall
trees in mixed and coniferous forests, forest steppe and river valleys in taiga
forests. Female builds nest 1.2-2.1 m high in deciduous trees, bushes and
shrub. The nest is a loose structure of fine twigs, moss and lichen. Inner cup
is made roots and hair.
