Habitat: Female builds nest in deciduous trees 1-5 m high in deciduous and mixed forests, patched woodlands and mixed tree lines along river valleys in mountain taiga forests, forest steppe and river basins. The nest is a cup of twigs, roots and lichen, lined with roots, plant fibers and hair.
