Habitat: Breeding pairs build a stick nest of
dried twigs and branches in coniferous and rarely deciduous trees in taiga
forest, forest steppe, and in the valleys of lakes and rivers. It occurs
singly, or in loose small groups of 3-9 individuals across open areas with
trees, bushes, rock s and cliffs, and sometimes in planted trees in villages,
towns and cities.
Food: Small to medium sized birds, small
rodents in forest and forest steppe.
